Infinite vs Finite | By Rodney Holmstrom Global Field Director Celebrate Recovery

I’m holding onto the truth and reminder this morning that I can never fit God inside of my own understanding. If I could, then He wouldn’t be God. He is much bigger and more infinite than my finite mind can fathom. And that is a good thing. “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I’m seeking this day to live not limited by the limitations of my circumstances, problems, thoughts, and ways. I’m choosing to live by faith in the everlasting God and in my weariness to look beyond all the things I may face today. I want to challenge you to do the same thing. Have a blessed week!

Holy Spirit Guidance | By Rodney Holmstrom Global Field Director Celebrate Recovery

Waking up this morning there is a central message as I listened to God’s word from  1 Corinthians 2:10-12 NLT “The Holy Spirit is revealing Gods love for me and you.” This is so loud for me this morning. Inhale- God is filling us with His love. Exhale- I can let go of all my fears, stress, worry and distractions. I am so glad we have His word and the Holy Spirit to provide every ounce of what we need every day. I am so blessed that He is speaking through each of you to lift my spirits in this season you are personally facing. Love you all. Have a blessed week!

What Do You Value More than God? | By Pastor Adrian Rogers

PRAY OVER THIS “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” ( Exodus 20:3-6 )   PONDER THIS Do you know what an idol is? An idol is a magnified sinner. People take their worst vices of war, greed, lust, and pride, and make gods out of them. People make gods out of their vices, then they worship their vices by participating in them. The sinner molds the idol and then the idol molds the sinner. You may say, “But, Adrian, this is the United States of America, an

Who is on the Throne? | By Rodney Holmstrom, CR Global Field Director

On coming to the house...they bowed down and worshiped him...   Matthew 2:11 NIV Today, I find myself thinking about King Herod today- lol. Yeah my weird mind. I wonder, what was going through his mind when he learned of the Messiah coming? Fear? Loss of control? Powerlessness? Perhaps he was thinking that things may never be the same ever again? Maybe his thought was  “But I'm supposed to be on the throne!!”  And boy, didn't he take things in his hands to the extreme?! As easy as it is to be critical of a warped King Herod, I can't help but think about how this can relate to my own life. There have been too many times in my life when facing God and coming into His presence, I have wanted and did respond in the same way to my Savior. So glad my name isn't written anywhere in the Bible about my stupidity. I guess that IS the incredible power of grace. No matter how stupid we may be, Jesus washes it away clean when we invite Him in and walk in His ways.
