CR at University Carillon

”But God...raised us from the dead."  Ephesians 2‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Two of my favorite words in the Bible..."but God..." It’s so comforting to remind ourselves that no matter how bad things may look for us in our life, family, or recovery today, we can confidently rise up and and declare with confidence these two powerful words: ‘But God!’ Isn’t it amazing to know God is raising you and I up to fulfill His purposes even when it doesn’t feel like it?! So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”   Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Last week my wife and I were watching the eclipse in the parking lot behind my office. What an amazing thing we witnessed. My wife said that would see 98.7% totality at 1:58 pm and 38 seconds. She was commenting on how we can be so exact on what was happening before it happens. I said that's because there are systems in place and order to be seen. Chaos is unpredictable but order is predictable.  I know there is some chaos in this world but there are so many systems in place that it's obvious there is a Creator.  There is a God who holds everything together and that same God lives in me and you! Hello Fam! Our UC Pastors blessed us on Sunday, April 7 with an opportunity to highlight CR at all 3 services and invite the congregation. Between services we had a resource table and several of our CR folk had the ability to meet church family who stopped by to chat. Prayers that even one person heard the invitation to the kind of healing CR can provide by the grace of God! This video was from the second service, the Contemporary service. At a glance, they were consuming the beauty of the plant that was trying to grow. Once they were removed, the life of the tree was more visible. Sometimes people, places and things can do the same. If I have the wrong ones around me, they can take me in the wrong direction. They can become weeds that choke out the life growth and make things toxic and mind consuming. Don Quixote, said, ‘Tell me your company, and I’ll tell you who you are.’ John Maxwell says, ‘You’ll acquire the vices and virtues of your closest associates.
