Jesus Calling - August 26

Trust ME in the midst of a messy day. Your inner calm—your peace in My Presence-need not be shaken by what is going on around you. Though you live in this temporal world, your innermost being is rooted and grounded in eternity. When you start to feel stressed, detach yourself from the disturbances around you. Instead of desperately striving to maintain order and control in your little world, relax and remember that circumstances cannot touch My Peace.   Seek My Face, and I will share My mind with you, opening your eyes to see things from My perspective. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. The Peace I give is sufficient for you.   "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." —John 16:33   Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. —Psalm 105:4   "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the wo

God Has a Special Assignment for You | Pastor Rick Warren

"Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, He told me everything I ever did!" JOHN 4:39 (NLT)   What excuses have you been making to avoid being used by God?   It doesn't take years of following Jesus to do what God put you on earth to do. No matter what you've done, God has a special assignment for you. In fact, it doesn't even take a day of "good" living. The lyrics speak to this important truth.  Take in these words as you face today, friends. Yesterday’s gone so let’s focus on today.   ”I'm only human.  I'm just a woman.  Lord help me believe in all I can be  And all that I am.  Show me the stairway that I have to climb  And Lord for my sake  Teach me to take one day at a time."   "One day at a time sweet Jesus  That's all that I'm asking from You.  Lord give me the strength to do every day what I have to do.  Yesterday's gone, sweet Jesus, and tomorrow may never be mine.  Lord help me today show me the way one day at a time.   Lord help me today show me the way one day at a time.”   We sure love you CR family!
